Milan dedicates a major exhibition to one of the greatest protagonists of the Graffiti of the eighties, Keit Haring.
Adverse to traditional art, Haring identified his field of action in the urban fabric of New York starting to draw in the voids of the advertising panels. His fame has reached Europe and his figures populate many cities, including Pisa, where in 1989 he made his last mural, Tuttomondo, before he died at the age of 31.
The exhibition Keith Haring. About art at Palazzo Reale of Milan discusses his career and his work in comparison with other artists from which he drew inspiration. The exhibition presents 110 works, some of monumental size, never exhibited before in Italy. Her “little men” stylized dialogue with Greek art, Renaissance works and authors including Pollock, Dubuffet and Paul Klee.
