Milano Pride 2016, a week long LGBT event, starts on 18th June. It aims to celebrate LGBT culture and promote equality and tolerance. If you are intending to attend this event, be sure to buy a MilanoCard before arriving in Milan. What will happen during Milano Pride?
A programme of LGBT friendly events is planned, including political events, entertainment, sports, culture, and information. This may include topics such as the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, rights, and integration. The goal is to consolidate what already happens on the Milan scene and promote it to a wider audience.
One highlight of the week is likely to be the traditional parade for civil rights that will take place on 25th June, followed by a flash mob that will include the participation of international artists.
